JSC “Kvazar” is Ukraine’s leading manufacturer of soalr cells, solar modules and solar power systems. The company is also a member of Space Agency of Ukraine.

JSC “Kvazar” was founded in 1961 as a semiconductor equipment plant. From this point onwards, the company has been operating in the field of high technologies.

In March 1994 the enterprise was reorganized into Joint Stock Company “Kvazar”- a holding company with 100% interest owned by individuals and legal persons. After the transformation into JSC “Kvazar” in 2001, a new activity line was mastered – manufacture of solar energy products.

“Kvazar” JSC has different divisions as follows:

• silicon ingot slicing;
• integrated circuit production;
• photoelectric converter and module production;
• solar power system production.

The company possesses a great scientific and technological potential and high technology production, employing 1000 skillful professionals, and occupying the territory of 24 hectares.

JSC “Kvazar” is a vertically integrated company which possesses the complete production cycle - from process design and technical evaluation to production of solar power systems for different applications.

The company’s quality testing system corresponds to ISO 9001-2000 quality requirements and is TUF Rheinland certified.

All products manufactured by JSC “Kvazar” are certified in compliance with European quality and electrical safety requirements, namely IEC 61 215 and 61 730, which is proved by VDE certification #40027689.

JSC “Kvazar” is actively expanding its business to the European market, and also to developing markets in Africa and the USA. The company has a number of representative offices in Switzerland, Germany, Canada, Portugal and Cameroon, which provide after sales assistance to our customers.
